PerkettPR Expands Worldwide Reach and Market Expertise
with New Clients and Team Members

Innovative public relations firm signs three new clients in U.S. and abroad, and adds former CNET editor to team

Boston – June 2, 2003 – PerkettPR, Inc., provider of results-based communications solutions for today’s value conscious companies, has further expanded its client roster with the addition of three new clients spanning Australia, California and Massachusetts. In addition, the company has deepened its industry-specific expertise with the addition of two senior strategists: Lauri Harrison in Denver, formerly of Lauri Harrison PR, and Ben Heskett in San Francisco, former editor at CNET Networks.

The following companies selected PerkettPR for a combination of ongoing programs and project work:

Blackmagic Design, South Melbourne, Australia - independent developer of driver software for uncompressed video hardware for the creative markets. Blackmagic Design manufacturers the world’s highest quality 10 bit video cards for the post production and television broadcast industries. Blackmagic Design also provides products and technology to other high-end manufacturers.

BCD Forum, Mountain View California – an independent, non-profit trade association that addresses the business of broadband. Members, which include some of the most important players in the broadband industry, work collaboratively to identify the issues, options and opportunities associated with monetizing broadband networks and to demonstrate that multi-vendor solutions can profitably deliver content-rich consumer and business services across both wireline and wireless networks. The membership consists of network service providers, content delivery providers, content developers, and hardware and software developers.

Building Engines, Waltham, Mass. – provider of web-based and wireless application service tools to improve workflow, enhance access, increase security and information tracking for building managers and the tenants they serve.

“PerkettPR instantly proved that they were the right choice for us with their ability to immediately begin work and deliver outstanding results, such as helping us to secure three top awards at a very important industry tradeshow,” said Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic Design. “We asked them for some help on a very tight deadline and they were able to deliver results that exceeded our expectations and achieved our specific business goals. They have the right mixture of an experienced and connected staff, enthusiasm for the job and value-conscious business principles.”

In addition, PerkettPR recently welcomed Lauri Harrison and Ben Heskett to the team as senior strategists, providing senior-level counsel on business development for PerkettPR, as well as strong media relations and strategic planning and counsel for clients.
